Welcome to your Public Acclimation Station!

04.2023.
Welcome to your Public Acclimation Station! We are a nation-wide network of stations dedicated to supporting your preparations amid the wildfire crisis.
Wildfires are increasing with global warming. They can grow into long-lasting infernos and emit greenhouse gasses and particulate matter, detrimental to the human body. What’s more, the right to breathable air is not just about the bad stuff in the air. It’s also about the distribution of power and support amongst individuals and communities to be informed and able to endure a crisis. As our environment gets harder to control, architecture needs to do more, at both the scale of the body and at the scale of a building.
Your Public Acclimation Station is committed to provide 3 essential services, each at different timescales: survival kit distribution and demonstration, body acclimation training, and air monitoring.
Thank you for your active participation through this crisis.
